Emma Darvick (she/they) is an illustrator and designer based in Kingston, New York (previously Brooklyn). She is currently a senior designer at Marriott, previously of Meredith Corporation, an American Media company where she created custom editorial illustration and design for several magazines including Real Simple, Health, Parents, Shape, Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes & Gardens and Southern Living.

Emma has been creating art for most of their life and in 2009 she received her BA in Fine Arts with a focus in painting. She began working in the digital world in 2013 when she started selling prints of her work. From there her freelance career began and took her down many exciting paths. She co-founded the company Happy Hour & Co. a greeting card company that tests boundaries of sentimentality and design. Her lifelong dream came true when she was approached to make wallpaper by removable wallpaper company Chasing Paper. Her designs quickly sold out and were featured in Vogue, Teen Vogue, Better Homes & Gardens, Martha Stewart Living and Glamour Magazine. Emma is one of the top featured Giphy artists with her work garnering over 3 billion views.

Emma draws inspiration from the strength, vulnerability and overall badassery of female and queer empowerment. She loves bright palettes, but also finds joy in bold black and white imagery.

In her down time Emma loves to make art and potions, designs altars and does tarot, is learning to tattoo, hangs out with their hedgeog Lavinia Snugglebottoms, and takes walks along the Hudson river with her dog Maddy.
